Objectives
  1. To produce Cyclists for the nation who would compete at the Olympics: The Olympics has 22 cycling events (offering 66 medals). However, not a single Indian Cyclist has qualified to represent India in the last 60 years.

  2. To create a platform for Cross Country Cycling: At present, adventure cyclists from the armed forces and state police go to the USA, UK and France to participate in cycle races, as there is no platform available to them in India.

  3. To develop Cycling Culture in India: There is an urgent need to develop a cycling culture in India and to produce infrastructure facilities for the same. This will help us reduce carbon emissions substantially.

  4. To create a sporting event that will go through the country and stand for its unity.
  5. To create an organic event which will have a pinch of Indian heritage and culture.
  6. To touch one million hearts in two weeks as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  7. To promote the culture of cycling.
  8. To promote spirit of adventure among youth.
  9. To foster Army dogs after retirement.
  10. To assist Agniveer-Cadets and Officer-Cadets of National Defence Academy, Officer Training Academy, Indian Military Academy who have to leave training  who had to leave service during training due to physical injury.
  11. Environment conservation drive by promoting use of green modes of transport, bicycles.
